Senior Network Data Engineer Contract Delhi/Hyderabad/Bangalore Acts as senior network engineer, ensuring proactive network operations, stability, and continuous improvement across customers global infrastructure. End-to-end ownership of L2 operations governance Responsible for large-scale environments across: LAN/WAN/SD-WAN/WLAN/Voice/Video stack Security devices, DDI, NAC Works across multi-geography 24x7 model Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) and critical escalations Provide SME-level support for: Network segmentation, routing optimization, Firewall rule tuning, security controls, SD WAN support and lifecycle activities Drive proactive operations: Alert tuning and noise reduction, Capacity and performance optimization Implement automation and orchestration use cases using ServiceNow ITOM + Ansible/AIOps Perform problem management & RCA analysis Oversee: Patch compliance & subscription management, Configuration governance (NCM / Forti Manager / Meraki) Mentor L1/L2 engineers and review technical deliverables Engage in: Transition-to-BAU activities, Knowledge management and documentation improvements Key Responsibilities Ability to configure and discuss Routing and Switching technologies, MPLS, Network Security, Data Center networks firewalls, VPN, load balancers Must have hands on experience on Cisco switches and routers. Must have experience in cisco ACI and Cisco ISE and F5 Switching: Cisco Catalyst Switches, VLAN, STP, VLAN Trunking Must have experience Cisco ASA (Cisco VPN Technology) Must have experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Access points.
