Senior SQL BI Developer

Roles and Responsibilities : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or with equivalent professional experience. Exceptional problem-solving skills Self-motivated Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Experience Primary Skills – SQL, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS & PowerBI Proficiency in writing Complex SQL Queries Experience in Debugging and Optimizing SQL. Exposure on creating/maintaining design related artifacts like source to target Mapping documents, data flow diagrams, and RCA documents. Understanding of BI concepts - OLTP vs OLAP Experience in an Agile environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Secondary skills/Good to have: Hands-on experience with Python, AWS, and/or Databricks Strong practical experience building and deploying data solutions using Python Experience working in cloud and data platforms such as AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, SageMaker, EC2, IAM) and/or Databricks (e.g., Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, workflows/jobs). Experience executing AI experiments and initiatives that improved productivity and automation Proven experience designing, running, and iterating on AI/ML experiments Delivered measurable business impact by implementing AI-driven solutions that improved team productivity, reduced manual effort, and automated repetitive workflows. Exposure to MLOps/LLMOps practices (experiment tracking, model deployment, monitoring, governance) and responsible AI considerations is preferred. Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required. An understanding of E-R data models (conceptual, logical, and physical). Understanding of advanced data warehouse concepts (Factless Fact Tables, Temporal \ Bi-Temporal models, etc.) a plus. Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions, roles and able to interact effectively with all levels. Self-starter. Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision. Can manage a complex ever changing priority list and resolve conflicts to competing priorities. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to business objectives, requirements, and priorities.
