About the role
Job Brief We are seeking a Senior Server Administrator who is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of servers, systems, and backend infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure hosted in State Data Centers and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), while continuously improving system performance, security posture, and operational efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications. Manage and administer virtualization platforms (VMware and Hyper-V). Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure in Azure and AWS environments. Administer Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), ADFS, Azure AD, and identity management services. Manage infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and directory services. Support and administer Office 365, email servers, and mail relay systems. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot backup solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication). Perform backup monitoring, restore testing, and ensure compliance with DR policies. Implement and manage patching strategies using SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager). Handle Qualys Patch Management and vulnerability remediation lifecycle. Apply OS and application patches and ensure compliance across servers. Administer Accops solutions (VDI, MFA, and secure remote access). Ensure secure access and endpoint compliance for remote users. Perform daily monitoring of servers and infrastructure services. Ensure system security, access control, and compliance adherence. Coordinate with network/security teams for secure configurations. Maintain file shares, storage systems, and access permissions. Maintain accurate inventory of server hardware and software assets. Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and DR plans. Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and technical support. Ensure smooth functioning of UAT and Production environments. Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to users and IT teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident, problem, and change management. Participate in Change, Incident, and Release Management processes. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of: Windows Server Administration SCCM, WSUS, Intune Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP Hands-on experience with: Veeam Backup Qualys Vulnerability & Patch Management Accops (VDI / MFA / Gateway) Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols Knowledge of security, backup, storage, and disaster recovery practices Experience working with Azure, AWS, or Government Cloud/Data Centers Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Release Management) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Self-motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
