About the role
[About the Role] Join our Grand Prairie, TX engineering team as a Test Engineer, where you will play a vital role in designing and implementing innovative testing methods and equipment for advanced devices. This is a hands-on position ideal for professionals passionate about driving quality and performance in a fast-paced environment. Second shift is preferred with the opportunity to transition to first shift after approximately three months. Interim clearance required to start.
[Responsibilities]
- Develop and implement testing methodologies and custom equipment
- Plan, schedule, and arrange labor and resources for rigorous testing activities
- Define parameters and specify procedures for both standard and specialized device tests
- Compile and analyze test data to recommend process and equipment improvements
- Oversee the testing of all customer samples and execute special tests beyond the standard test area
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including use of safety shoes, ear plugs, and safety goggles
- Travel occasionally (less than 20%), including potential trips to Lufkin, TX
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 20 years’ technical experience)
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in test systems development
- Proven expertise in test procedure development, execution, and troubleshooting (6+ years)
- Experience in developing test requirements (6+ years)
- 15+ years of overall relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain interim clearance
- Strong hands-on technical and analytical skills
