Indotronix is seeking an :Structural Bay Engineering Technician 2, Chandler, AZ

Job Summary: Provides hands-on technical support in a structural test environment, assisting in the development, assembly, testing, and documentation of hardware for launch vehicle programs. Works closely with engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality and safe execution of test activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Support development, build, testing, and documentation of structural test hardware

Assist in assembling fixtures and setting up test configurations

Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions

Perform hands-on mechanical work ranging from small components to large assemblies

Record and maintain test data accurately

Collaborate with engineers and technicians in a team environment

Adhere to safety policies and support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards

Respond effectively in dynamic and fast-paced testing scenarios

Support continuous improvement and efficient use of resources

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related education/experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Experience with engineering drawings, schematics, and data recording

Proficient with hand tools and basic computer skills (MS Office)

Ability to perform hands-on work and lift up to 50 lbs

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Costpoint, or MES systems

• Experience with hydraulic systems or structural testing environments

• Forklift and crane operation experience

• Soldering and instrumentation experience (e.g., strain gages, displacement transducers)
