About the Role

Lockheed Martin is seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team focused on the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced microwave electronics subsystems. Responsibilities

• Lead electronics packaging design and documentation for military microwave subsystems

• Perform detailed analysis, research, and testing of complex mechanical and thermal systems

• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams in RF/microwave, analog/digital, and mechanical engineering

• Utilize CREO and Windchill for 3D modeling and product lifecycle management

• Drive root cause analysis and troubleshooting for electronic assemblies

• Support manufacturing, verification, and validation processes in state-of-the-art facilities

• Ensure strict compliance with security protocols and documentation control

• Required Skills and Experience

• Associate’s Degree with 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience

• Active interim security clearance (or previously held clearance)

• Expertise in electronic packaging for military applications

• Proficient in design and documentation of Circuit Card Assemblies, PCBs, and cabling

• Experience with CREO and Windchill

• Knowledge of GD&T and familiarity with Change Board processes

• Preferred Skills

• BS in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience with electronics packaging for microwave electronics

• Familiarity with Zuken

• Hands-on background in building and testing electronic assemblies

• Knowledge of materials and processes in electronics
