About the role
Job Summary: Engineering - Systems Integration/Test Engineer
[About the Role] Join a dynamic team in Orlando, FL, as a Systems Integration/Test Engineer for a 6-month temporary assignment with strong potential for extension based on performance. In this hands-on role, you will be pivotal in integrating, testing, and validating both in-house and COTS/GOTS components, ensuring seamless platform operations. Collaborate within a forward-thinking environment, tackling technical challenges and contributing to cutting-edge system solutions.
[Responsibilities]
- Plan, implement, and document comprehensive integration and testing of hardware and software systems.
- Execute and support System Integration Lab (SIL) events, leveraging test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and parsing scripts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues using Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and test procedures.
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.
- Analyze test results, prepare evaluation reports, and ensure systems meet all technical and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate system testing activities with internal programs and external stakeholders.
- Author discrepancy reports and conduct integration regression testing to validate fixes and system improvements.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems integration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and executing test plans.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical testing.
- Minimum 5 years of hardware integration experience.
- Strong familiarity with ICDs, SIL environments, and troubleshooting interface challenges.
- Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM) and parsing scripts.

- Experience synthesizing technical and customer requirements into actionable test solutions.
- Advanced documentation and reporting skills.
- Prior exposure to both COTS and GOTS system environments.
