Responsibilities

• Create, review, and verify detailed mechanical drawing and design packages compliant with industry and military standards

• Model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter

• Revise and ensure parametric drawings meet ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards

• Conduct tolerance analysis, hardware selection, and fitment verification on assembly prints

• Liaise with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality teams, and vendors to ensure design integrity and manufacturability

• Resolve GD&T interpretation issues and support drawing clarification

• Supervise and direct staff activities, as needed

• Meet delivery deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards

• Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical CAD design

• Proficiency in Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and 3D modeling

• Solid understanding of GD&T and ASME drawing standards

• Experience with tolerance analysis, hardware fitment, and assembly design

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

• Proficient with Word, Excel, Windows

• Preferred Skills

• Experience with CATIA

• Exposure to vendor management and cross-functional team collaboration
