IT Senior Systems Analyst

As a Senior Citrix Engineer, your role involves leading the development and maintenance of roadmaps, maintenance scheduling, life cycle management, and capacity management for the Citrix environment and related technologies. You will be primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting solutions related to Citrix projects and initiatives. Additionally, your responsibilities include: - Leading the day-to-day administration, planning, and problem-solving for the Citrix XenApp environment - Owning and escalating issues through resolution - Identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and issues to drive the analysis and documentation of technical requirements for enterprise Citrix XenApp architecture - Leading Disaster Recovery solutions for the XenApp/XenDesktop Environment - Performing performance tuning and providing a high availability XenApp/XenDesktop environment - Maintaining accurate documentation related to configuration, processes, service records, asset inventories, and more - Ensuring IT Leadership is informed about all known and identified risks to system availability, performance, reliability, and security - Proactively identifying enhancements to improve performance and reliability - Coaching and mentoring staff on technology, methodologies, and standards - Serving as a subject matter expert for multiple disciplines - Coordinating with application teams for projects and leading engagements with external vendors - Providing timely updates on status to customers, project team, and leadership Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience - 7+ years of technology experience - 5+ years of experience working in Citrix environment, with at least 5 years' experience designing/implementing/administrating enterprise Windows/Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments - Expert knowledge of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, MS Active Directory, and OS technologies - Expert knowledge of Windows Active Directory Domains integration and interaction with the network, Group Policy, Anti-Virus applications, DHCP, and DNS Preferred Skills: - NetScaler GSLB, NetScaler support in multi-site environment - Knowledge of VMware - Knowledge of MS SQL Server - Understanding of Storage Area Networks, Network Attached Storage, storage system capacity and performance, fiber channel, NFS, iSCSI, and FCOE protocols Certifications: - Citrix certifications - Microsoft OS Certification - Current VCP certification - MCITP, MCSE, and MCTS certifications This position requires a minimum of 6 years to a maximum of 8 years of experience.
