Production Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our global manufacturing teams. In this critical role, you will drive operational excellence on the shop floor, optimize production processes, ensure product quality, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D to deliver high-performance manufacturing outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved productivity, reduced cycle time, and cost efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for production issues. Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield rates, and downtime metrics. Collaborate with maintenance teams on preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste and streamline operations. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP, and other relevant quality and safety standards. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation. Analyze production data using statistical process control (SPC) and implement data-driven decisions. Support new product introduction (NPI) and scale-up activities from pilot to full-scale production. Train and mentor production technicians and junior engineers on best practices. Work with automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Manage production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory optimization in coordination with planning teams. Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations. Drive sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency and waste reduction programs.
