Snowflake Architect - Mumbai (10 - 12 Years) (India)

Job description - Cloud Data Architecture Expertise o Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses, storage layers, and compute scaling. - Experience designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud data platforms. o Knowledge of Snowflake clustering, partitioning, and query optimization. - Ability to monitor and manage compute costs effectively. o Experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, and encryption in Snowflake. - Azure Data Factory (ADF) Proficiency o Hands-on experience building pipelines, managing triggers, and integrating with various data sources. Ideally with ADF but SSIS experience is suitable. - Knowledge of ADF mapping data flows and parameterization for dynamic pipeline design. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data deployments. Needs to be able to support Sriram with this and ensure a workable and scalable CI/CD process is implemented. - POC Development & Implementation Leadership o Proven ability to create effective POCs that address business and technical needs. - Experience leading cross-functional teams to scale POCs into robust, production-ready solutions. - Must serve as the primary support contact for engineering during implementation, providing documentation, answering technical questions, and ensuring alignment between initial design and final delivery. - SQL Server Migration Experience o Familiarity with SQL Server schema, stored procedures, functions etc. o Experience in assessing legacy systems and planning schema conversion and data transformation. - Medallion Architecture Design o Ability to design and implement bronze (raw), silver (cleaned), and gold (business-ready) layers in Snowflake. - Understanding of data lineage, transformation logic, and modular architecture principles. - Data Modeling & Metadata Management o Strong skills in dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization, and metadata strategy. - Documentation o Skilled in creating architecture diagrams, migration plans, and standards documentation. - Project Support o Active participation in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and alignment with architectural standards. - Engagement in parking lot meetings and other forums to resolve open issues, clarify requirements, and drive consensus across teams. - Robust collaboration skills to support Project Managers and Project Leads with clear, timely communication. - Ability to provide regular updates, proactively flag risks or blockers, and ensure alignment across stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. - Experience in writing well-defined user stories that align with business goals and technical requirements. .
