Role Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer, your main responsibility will be to write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI applications and API endpoints. You will also run regression test suites, analyze results, and collaborate with senior engineers to understand system architecture and warehouse flows. Additionally, you will review manual test cases and convert them into efficient automated scripts. Key Responsibilities: - Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI applications and API endpoints - Run regression test suites, analyze results, and update existing automation frameworks - Document, log, and track software bugs through to resolution using tools like Jira - Work closely with senior engineers and developers to understand system architecture and warehouse flows - Review manual test cases and convert them into efficient automated scripts Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cucumber, and familiarity with Github/Jenkins - Foundational coding skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript - Basic experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or programmatic libraries - Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Strong desire to learn complex supply chain workflows and advanced automation techniques Company Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with prior exposure to domains like Supply Chain, Logistics, or Third-Party Logistics (3PL). Familiarity with WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Korber) and Order Management Systems is considered an added advantage. Exposure to EDI transaction sets (e.g., 850, 856, 940, 945) and a solid understanding of core warehouse operations like receiving, picking, packing, and shipping are also preferred qualifications.
