Android Framework Developer (R&D Team) (Telangana)

Role Android AOSP Engineer Experience 4 to 8 years Location Hyderabad - Waverock Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and resolve Android framework and middleware issues, including critical and one-time reproducible issues, performance concerns, and customer-reported problems. - Perform root cause analysis for platform stability issues such as ANRs, Tombstone Crashes, Device Freezes, Blank Screens, Framework Reboots, Boot Time Regressions, and Kernel Crashes. - Debug and analyze Android framework and system components. - Work with Configuration Management tools including Git, Gerrit, repo sync, patch creation, patch submission, and cherry-picking. - Develop and maintain Android framework services using Java/Kotlin. - Independently drive technical investigations and deliver solutions. Desired Skills: - Strong understanding of Android Framework internals. - Experience with Android System/Vendor Services, HAL, and Native Core Services. - Knowledge of JNI and Android application development. - Expertise in Android performance analysis, memory optimization, networking, and debugging tools. - Valuable understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Android design patterns. - Familiarity with the latest Android framework updates, build tools, and libraries.
