EMC Test Engineer

Responsible for EMC related testing of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies as per defined test plan / specs / standards. Mandatory Desired Skill Sets :- Basic communication skills Knowledge of automotive EMC standards Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 processes Basic soldering Good knowledge on Hardware (Passive and Active components - RF, Digital and Analog) Sound knowledge on EMC Basics Hands-on experience in using measuring instruments - Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyser/EMI receivers etc Able to interpret Standards/OEM specifications Hands on experience in conducting EMC tests Added Advantage :- Knowledge and hands on experience in handling non-automotive EMC standards too. Knowledge on regulatory requirements Knowledge on CAN/LIN, Flexray communications.
