Senior Developer and Team Lead

Role Overview: As a Senior Full Stack Developer at ISS STOXX, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems with a strong background in Java and React. Your role will involve mentoring and managing the team, understanding business processes, and developing rich user interfaces incorporating complex business workflows. You must be self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of projects and tasks assigned to you. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business processes, data architecture, and automate manual processes - Develop rich user interfaces with complex business workflows - Provide technical support to business users - Communicate and collaborate effectively with global business and technical teams - Learn and work on different technologies and tools - Engage with global business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Qualifications: - Bachelors/masters degree in computer science or equivalent - 5-9 years of experience building rich user interfaces - Proficiency in Java programming - Proficiency in ReactJS - Proficiency in object-oriented programming - Experience with SQL Server - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes - Exposure to microservices architecture, API integration, and distributed systems - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment - Willingness to work in flexible timings - Good to have: Familiarity with Capital markets and Mutual funds industry, familiarity with Python, basic knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology Additional Details: ISS STOXX GmbH is a leading provider of research and technology solutions for the financial market, offering benchmark and custom indices globally.
