Piping and Layout Engineer

Role: PIPING LAYOUT ENGINEER Location: Chennai Responsibilities: Act as a team player and effectively manage a team of designers and draftsmen. Contribute to all phases of piping activities, including Bid, FEED, and Detailed Design. Design and verify layouts, piping systems, and supports. Review and validate piping deliverables such as plot plans, equipment layouts, isometrics, and piping general arrangement drawings. Prepare piping material takeoffs during Bid, FEED, and Detailed Design phases. Review vendor drawings and provide inputs for integration into the 3D model. Monitor and report progress of the 3D model. Coordinate with other disciplines for interdiscipline document reviews, including vendor submissions. Requirements: Handson experience as an Area Engineer for at least 3 years in EPC projects. Strong knowledge of piping design, layout verification, and support systems. Familiarity with project workflows across Bid, FEED, and Detailed Design phases. Proven ability to lead and manage design teams effectively.
