Rotating Equipment Engineer

Position: Rotating Equipment Engineer Experience: 10-12 Years Location: Chennai Job Details: Responsibilities: Execute all activities related to Rotating Equipment Engineering within the project scope. Define discipline activity lists and deliverables, establish schedules, and coordinate tasks in line with the overall project timeline. Manage discipline workflows, interfaces, quality checks, and approvals of deliverables, including vendor documentation. Provide technical support to project functions such as Procurement and Construction. Prepare and issue technical specifications, data sheets, purchase requisitions, and technical bid evaluations; coordinate vendor followup activities. Support the construction team in implementing engineering solutions at site. Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, with strong knowledge of rotating equipment such as compressors, turbines, and pumps in accordance with API codes. Requirements: Sound knowledge of structural material grades, fabrication practices, and detailing aspects. Proven experience managing a team of at least five engineers on projects.
