Job Title: Techno Functional Business Analyst Exp with Hedge Fund Accounting and Private Equity Experience 36 Years Hybrid Option : 3 days from Office and 2 days from Home Location : Mumbai Andheri East Qualification : CA or Non-CA candidates Job Summary We are seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong expertise in Hedge Fund Accounting and Fund Accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working as a Business Analyst within the financial services domain, with a solid understanding of financial products and fund accounting processes. The role requires the ability to bridge business requirements with technology teams to deliver effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to hedge fund accounting and investment operations. Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to translate business needs into functional requirements. Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design. Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle. Support system implementation, UAT, defect resolution, and production rollouts. Analyze fund accounting workflows, NAV calculations, reconciliations, corporate actions, and Financial reporting processes. Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FRDs), user stories, and process documentation. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery. Required Skills 36 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Financial Services domain. Strong hands-on experience in Hedge Fund Accounting and Fund Accounting. Good understanding of financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, and Alternative Investments. Experience with NAV calculation, reconciliations, pricing, corporate actions, and investment accounting processes. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Ability to write business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills Basic understanding of technology concepts, APIs, databases, SQL, or system integrations. Experience working with fund accounting platforms or investment management systems is an added advantage. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience working with global financial institutions or hedge funds is preferred .
