System Engineer-Datadog

Role & responsibilities Demonstrated experience in integrating other monitoring tools with Datadog. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering or operations, with a strong focus on monitoring and analytics platforms. Proven experience with Datadog, including implementation, configuration, and optimisation in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud). Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with Datadog. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration purposes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments. Relevant certifications in Datadog, cloud computing, or systems engineering are a plus. Working Conditions: This position may require occasional evening and weekend work to perform system upgrades, maintenance, or emergency troubleshooting. Remote work options are available, with expectations for regular communication and participation in virtual meetings.
