Mongo DB/ETL Developer (Hyderabad)

Role & Responsibilities MongoDB / ETL Developer - Design and implement MongoDB document-based data models aligned with TMF Open APIs and SID standards. - Translate Oracle relational data models into MongoDB NoSQL document structures, ensuring optimal use of embedded documents and denormalization. - Define and implement indexing strategies (compound, TTL, text, sparse) to optimize high-volume read/write performance. - Design and develop aggregation pipelines for reporting, analytics, and downstream API consumption. - Build and execute end-to-end ETL pipelines for large-scale Oracle on-premise to MongoDB cloud migration. - Develop data transformation logic for schema conversion, mapping relational structures to document models. - Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) and incremental data ingestion strategies. - Ensure data quality, reconciliation, integrity, and auditability across migration and ingestion workflows. - Optimize ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency using AWS best practices. - Work with AWS services such as Glue, DMS, S3, Lambda, EMR, and Step Functions for data migration and processing. - Collaborate with MongoDB, API, and AWS architecture teams to design scalable, event-driven, API-first solutions. - Support event-driven architectures using Kafka or equivalent messaging systems. - Ensure schema evolution strategies support flexible and evolving business requirements. - Participate in design discussions for TMF Open API-based telecom data models. Preferred Candidate Profile - 510+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or backend data architecture roles. - Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas / NoSQL databases. - Proven experience in MongoDB data modeling (embedding, referencing, schema design). - Strong experience in Oracle database and SQL-based systems. - Hands-on experience in Oracle to NoSQL (MongoDB) migration projects. - Robust expertise in ETL pipeline design and implementation u .
