Job Opportunity Network Security Engineer / Network Specialist (CISSP Certified) Location: Pune (Preferred) Experience: 5+ Years We are hiring an experienced Network Security Engineer / Network Specialist with strong expertise in enterprise networking, security infrastructure, and network operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in routing & switching, firewalls, VPN, network security technologies, and should hold an active CISSP certification . This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale network security environments involving secure network architecture, data center operations, and global infrastructure support. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure. • Manage and troubleshoot Routing & Switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, STP, HSRP, and VRRP. • Configure and manage enterprise firewalls including Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar security platforms. • Perform firewall policy management, security rule reviews, access control, and troubleshooting. • Support VPN technologies including IPsec, SSL VPN, and secure remote connectivity. • Manage network security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. • Support SD-WAN environments and optimize WAN connectivity across enterprise locations. • Perform network monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive issue resolution. • Work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for network implementations and troubleshooting. • Maintain network documentation, SOPs, implementation plans, and operational procedures. • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Security Engineering. • Active CISSP certification (mandatory) . • Strong hands-on experience with: Cisco Routing & Switching BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP VLAN, STP/RSTP, HSRP/VRRP Firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Check Point) VPN, NAT, ACL, IPsec Network troubleshooting and incident management • Experience in enterprise data center and ISP/network operations. • Strong understanding of network security concepts and protocols. • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Cisco SD-WAN / Versa SD-WAN / Viptela. • Experience with Cisco ISE, NAC, and network access control solutions. • Experience with cloud security, Zscaler, or SASE architecture. • Experience supporting global enterprise networks and data center operations. • CCNP/CCIE Security or equivalent certifications. Interview Process 2-3 rounds of interviews. • One interview round will be conducted in person at the Pune office, and candidate presence is mandatory.
