Python Developer (Gurugram)

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 4-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python programming, API development, databases, and software development best practices. Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and modern development frameworks will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications. Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards. Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and external systems. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in development and production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX to deliver high-quality software. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture and design discussions. Develop unit tests and support automated testing practices. Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skills 48 years of hands-on experience in Python development. Strong proficiency in Python programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django . Strong understanding of REST API development and API integration. Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM. Experience with Git and version control systems. Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development best practices. Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis. Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
