5G and NTN Systems Integration Engineer United States | 2025-10-04 Job Description Location: Frisco, TX Job description: We are looking for a 5G and NTN Systems Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Frisco, TX Innovation Lab. This is a full-time onsite role for a Master's graduate with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications, networking, cloud, and infrastructure engineering. As part of the Systems Integration team, you will work on end-to-end deployment and validation of enterprise 5G private networks, including satellite NTN communications. You will collaborate with multi-vendor RAN, Core, and infrastructure components, focusing on performance, security, and real-world use cases. Responsibilities: Deploy, integrate, and validate 4G/5G RAN (O-RAN), Core (5GC), IMS and NTN satellite earth stations and e2e communications systems. Perform system benchmarking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for private 5G and enterprise networks. Collaborate with cloud teams to implement Kubernetes/OpenShift-based cloud-native architectures for 5G applications. Support data center modernization, network security, and infrastructure upgrades. Conduct interoperability testing with multi-vendor core, IMS, IoT, and edge devices (CPEs, drones, sensors, AR/VR devices). Develop technical documentation, test reports, and architecture diagrams. Requirements: Master's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in telecom, networking, or cloud infrastructure. Strong understanding of 4G/5G network architecture, call flows, and interfaces (e.g., S1, N1, N2, F1, NG). Familiarity with NTN (LEO/MEO satellite communications) is a strong plus. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes). Experience with network security, firewalls, and data protection is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
