Cloud Engineer United States | 2025-12-17 Job Description Location: Dallas, TX Required Experience: 2-3 years in related field Job description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop cloud solutions that meet our business needs. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. Automate and streamline cloud-based operations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization. Work with development teams to create cloud-based applications and services. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide solutions. Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies. Ensure cloud environments meet industry best practices and security standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends. Collaborate with DevOps, security, and IT teams to support business-critical systems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Experience with cloud automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot cloud-based issues. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.). Preferred Skills: Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with databases, both relational and NoSQL, in cloud environments.
