About the role
As a Lead Data Architect at HH Digital, Data & Analytics (HHDDA), you will be playing a crucial role in the Human Health transformation journey by contributing to the development of the premier Data First commercial biopharma organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding business use cases, challenges, and prioritizing data requirements - Designing advanced conceptual, logical, and physical data organizations, models, repository, and reports - Collaborating with enterprise architects, infrastructure, and software experts to define metadata layers and integration strategies - Translating designed solutions to technical designers or developers and optimizing when required - Managing end-to-end architecture for the domain and solution product life cycle Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: B.Tech / B.S., M.Tech / M.S., or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Data Science, Business, or related field - Required experience: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry with hands-on experience in analyzing and modeling commercial/marketing analytics datasets - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS - Experience with cloud-based data management platforms and storage/compute services - Strong interpersonal and communication skills Additionally, the company, Merck & Co., Inc., values diversity and inclusivity, encouraging employees to challenge each other's ideas and work together collaboratively.
