About the role
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic, engineering-focused environment. You will be the bridge between development and operations, responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the reliability and scalability of our production systems. While you will work across the full technology stack, this role requires deep expertise in architecting Automated CI/CD pipelines , mastery of Linux system administration, and proficiency with industry-standard tooling like Jenkins , Splunk , and Dynatrace . You will collaborate closely with global teams, including a significant overlap with our colleagues in Dublin to ensure seamless 24/7 operational continuity and feature delivery. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Automation & Pipeline Management: Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable frequent, high-quality software releases. Implement "configuration as code" practices for pipeline definitions. Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates into the deployment lifecycle. Monitoring, Observability & Incident Response: Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting strategies using Dynatrace (APM and infrastructure) and Splunk (log aggregation and analytics). Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to measure and maintain system reliability. Take ownership of incident management, participating in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across the stack. Conduct blamemortem analyses to prevent recurrence of incidents. Linux Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: Manage and administer a large-scale Linux environment (primarily RHEL/CentOS or Ubuntu). Automate infrastructure provisioning, OS hardening, and patch management. Optimize system performance and resource utilization. Mandatory Technical Skills Candidates must possess demonstrable, hands-on experience with the following: CI/CD Automation: Expert-level experience designing and implementing complex CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins . Observability Stack: Strong proficiency with Splunk (querying, dashboarding) and Dynatrace (APM, Real User Monitoring). Operating System: Deep, hands-on expertise in Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Scripting/Programming: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Groovy). Infrastructure as Code: Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Good to Have Skills Experience with Chef Habitat for application automation and configuration management. Experience with XLR (XL Release) or similar enterprise release orchestration tools. Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with public cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
