Senior Java Engineer Product Development

As a Senior Java Engineer in the Product Development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable backend services for our product platform. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing microservices using Java and Spring Boot. - Working in an AI-first development environment, leveraging AI tools to boost development speed, productivity, and code quality. - Acting as an individual contributor, while also mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices. - Collaborating with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. - Ensuring high standards of performance, security, and maintainability. In order to excel in this role, you must possess the following skills: - Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. - Mandatory expertise in BPM tools like Camunda. - Mandatory experience with Business Rule Engines such as Drools, jBPM, or similar. - Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ (AMQ), AWS SQS, etc. - Proven experience in developing production-grade enterprise applications. - Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Additionally, having the following experience would be an added advantage: - Experience working in Fintech product companies. - Hands-on experience in Loan Origination and Loan Management Systems for the Indian market. This position offers a competitive salary starting from 500,000.00 per year, and it requires you to work in person at the office from Monday to Friday.
