Mac OS Endpoint Management Engineer

Location : Pune / Coimbatore Experience : 5- 10 Years (Minimum 3+ years specifically in macOS management via Intune) Industry : IT / Software Services / Infrastructure Management Compensation : Competitive / Best in the Industry About the Role : We are looking for a skilled, hands-on macOS Endpoint Management Engineer to own and manage our Apple device ecosystem end-to-end using Microsoft Intune. In this role, you will design, configure, and maintain automated deployments, security profiles, application packaging, and custom scripting to deliver a seamless and secure desktop experience for enterprise Mac users. Key Responsibilities : 1. macOS Device & Policy Management : - Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise macOS devices using Microsoft Intune. - Configure and support Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) workflows. - Design, test, and deploy robust Intune configuration profiles and strict compliance policies. - Manage Company Portal apps, assignments, and scoping using targeted Intune filters (e.g., OS version, device model, Apple Silicon vs. Intel chips). 2. App Packaging & Enterprise Deployment : - Package, test, deploy, and maintain macOS software using PKG and DMG formats. - Seamlessly deploy and support critical enterprise applications including Microsoft Office/MAU, Netskope, CrowdStrike, GlobalProtect, Zoom, Google Chrome, Citrix Workspace, and Webex. 3. Apple Enterprise Security & Control : - Implement and manage advanced Apple native security controls. - Configure Privacy Preferences Policy Control (PPPC/TCC), FileVault encryption, Bootstrap Tokens, and System Extensions. - Collaborate closely with corporate Security, IAM, and IT Support teams to align endpoint controls with security standards. 4. Scripting, Automation & Troubleshooting : - Write, optimize, and maintain custom Bash and Zsh scripts for endpoint automation and proactive endpoint remediation. - Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across Intune deployment statuses, Company Portal issues, native macOS logs, and complex VPN/network dependencies.
