Job Opening: Clinical SAS Programmer Location: Kochi, Kerala, India Department: IT Design & Development Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview IQVIA is seeking a motivated Clinical SAS Programmer with a strong foundation in clinical/healthcare domains. This role requires assisting with database design and modifications to address processing challenges while adhering to system capacities, time constraints, and desired outcomes. Key Responsibilities Clinical Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of clinical trial phases and clinical domain knowledge. SAS Programming: Experience in Clinical SAS Programming for data import, analysis, and reporting. Proficient in SAS Output Delivery System (ODS) for generating reports in formats such as RTF, PDF, and HTML. Handle missing values, manage raw data files, and resolve programming errors. Data Management: Skilled in accessing, appending, concatenating, and managing SAS datasets. Prepare clinical datasets from raw data and load client data from other platforms. Report Generation: Expertise in SAS procedures such as PROC PRINT, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TRANSPOSE, and PROC SQL for comprehensive reporting. Advanced SAS Skills: Proficiency in SAS Macros and SAS SQL coding. Develop project-specific macros, custom reports, and vendor import programming. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of SAS/Base, SAS/Advanced SAS, SAS/Macros, SAS/SQL, SAS/SAS Grid. Code development using Base SAS programs, SAS procedures, or standardized macros. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience: 01 year in database administration or relevant domain. Skills: Ability to perform moderate analysis and problem-solving in non-routine matters. Work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
