Project Role: Snowflake Administrator Experience : 4 to 7 Years Location : Kochi/ Bangalore Mode : Hybrid (2 days WFO) Must Have Skills: • Snowflake • Databricks • SQL (Expected alongside Snowflake experience) • Strong DBA/Administration experience Job Description ➢ Strong expertise in SQL development and data platform technologies, with hands-on experience in either SQL Server & Azure Databricks or Snowflake (experience with both is a plus), along with supporting tools, methodologies, and operational processes. ➢ Hands-on experience with SQL Server & Azure Databricks (cluster management, notebook development, job orchestration, performance optimization) OR strong experience with Snowflake (data warehousing concepts, virtual warehouses, data sharing, and cost/performance optimization) ➢ Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex query writing, optimization, and troubleshooting across large-scale datasets. ➢ Experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT processing using tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks (PySpark/SQL), Snowflake, or equivalent platforms. ➢ Strong understanding of data pipeline design, ingestion, transformation, and integration across cloud based systems. ➢ Experience in performance tuning, including query optimization, data partitioning, indexing strategies (where applicable), and workload management across Databricks and/or Snowflake environments. ➢ Experience with data lake and lakehouse architectures, including formats such as Delta Lake, Parquet, and cloud storage solutions (e.g., ADLS). ➢ Strong understanding of security and governance practices, including RBAC, data masking, encryption, and compliance within Azure and/or Snowflake environments. ➢ Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data workloads for reliability, scalability, and performance. ➢ Proven experience in data migration and modernization initiatives, including moving workloads from on prem systems to cloud platforms such as Azure Databricks or Snowflake. ➢ Ability to manage time-sensitive data pipelines, ensuring quality and timely delivery ➢ Drive automation, process improvements, and operational efficiency using cloud-native best practices. ➢ Support platform and data changes through modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, release management across environments).
