As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building scalable automation frameworks for web applications. - Developing and executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases. - Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. - Analyzing test execution results and identifying defects. - Performing root cause analysis and working closely with development teams to resolve issues. - Ensuring high-quality software releases through automation best practices. - Contributing to automation framework enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives. - Exploring and implementing Gen AI-based testing accelerators and automation capabilities. To excel in this role, you should have strong hands-on experience with the Playwright Automation Framework and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python. Additionally, you should have experience in test automation framework design and implementation, a strong understanding of UI Automation, API Testing, Test Design Techniques, and Agile Methodologies. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and CI/CD tools is essential. Domain expertise in Wealth Management, including exposure to Trading Platforms, Portfolio Management, Investment Management, Funding & Settlement Processes, and Financial Services Applications, is highly preferred. Preferred skills include exposure to Gen AI integration in software testing, experience with test reporting and monitoring tools, API automation testing, performance and security testing awareness, and knowledge of cloud-based testing environments. Education requirement for this role is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. The preferred candidate profile includes strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for quality engineering and test automation.
