Senior Architect (SRE / Networking)

Title: Senior Infrastructure Architect (SRE / Networking) Location: India (% Remote) Duration: Contract (potential extension) Overview We are supporting a client building out a next-generationprivate cloud infrastructure to support high-scale, distributed database workloads (millions of tests/month, petabyte-scale storage). They are looking for asenior architect who can operate across SRE, networking, and infrastructure architecture , with the ability to design, diagnose, and improve complex systems. What Youll Do Lead architecture design and evolution of private cloud infrastructure Own network architecture, reliability, and performance optimization Drive SRE best practices (SLOs, incident management, observability) Evaluate and improve scalability, fault tolerance, and system performance Partner with engineering teams on distributed systems design and operations Provide hands-on technical leadership across infrastructure components What Were Looking For + years in infrastructure architecture/systems engineering Strong networking expertise (design, not just operations) Experience in distributed systems / private cloud environments Background in SRE or reliability engineering Familiarity with: Virtualization (KVM, Xen, etc.) Storage systems High-performance or large-scale systems Comfortable working in low-level systems environments (Linux, etc.) Strong communication able to work with engineering leadership Nice to Have Experience with low-latency networking (RDMA, DPDK) Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or high-performance computing Experience in database-heavy environments Title: Senior Infrastructure Architect (SRE / Networking) Location: India (% Remote) Duration: Contract (potential extension) Overview We are supporting a client building out a next-generationprivate cloud infrastructure to support high-scale, distributed database workloads (millions of tests/month, petabyte-scale storage).
