About the role
Role Overview: You will be supporting a client in building a high-scale private cloud platform with petabyte-level storage and high-throughput workloads. As a Senior Storage Engineer in Distributed Systems, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing distributed storage systems, analyzing IO performance, latency, and throughput bottlenecks, supporting infrastructure scalability and reliability improvements, working closely with infrastructure and platform teams on system performance tuning, and contributing to architecture decisions around storage and data systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and optimize distributed storage systems - Analyze IO performance, latency, and throughput bottlenecks - Support infrastructure scalability and reliability improvements - Work closely with infrastructure and platform teams on system performance tuning - Contribute to architecture decisions around storage and data systems Qualifications Required: - Strong experience with distributed storage systems such as Ceph, ZFS, GlusterFS, SAN/NAS, NVMe-oF, etc. - Background in performance tuning and system optimization - Experience working in large-scale infrastructure environments - Familiarity with Linux systems, virtualized environments, and high-throughput/data-intensive workloads - Ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues Additional Company Details: The company is focused on building a high-scale private cloud platform with petabyte-level storage and high-throughput workloads.
