OCI Architect1 OCI Architect Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled OCI Architect with strong Database Administration expertise who can lead cloud transformation initiatives, support presales activities (RFP/RFI), and execute Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) lift-and-shift migrations from on-premise to OCI. The role requires a blend of technical depth, solution design, and client-facing capabilities. Key Responsibilities OCI Architecture & Cloud StrategyDesign and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Define cloud architecture including:VCN, subnets, DR strategiesCompute, storage, load balancersIdentity & Access Management (IAM)Establish best practices for cost optimization, governance, and securityLead cloud adoption strategies and roadmap planning Oracle Database AdministrationManage and administer Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c/21c) across environmentsPerform:Installation, configuration, patching, upgradesPerformance tuning and query optimizationBackup & recovery (RMAN, Data Guard)Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setupsMonitor database health, capacity planning, and security compliance Oracle EBS Lift & Shift to OCILead end-to-end migration of Oracle EBS from on-premise to OCIAssess existing infrastructure and define migration strategiesExecute:Lift-and-shift (rehost) migrationsEBS architecture redesign for OCIDowntime minimization strategiesConfigure OCI services for EBS:Compute, Block Storage, Object StorageLoad Balancer, File StorageValidate post-migration performance and stability Presales & RFP/RFI SupportAnalyze RFP/RFI requirements and design tailored OCI solutionsPrepare:Solution architecture documentsEffort estimation and pricing inputsTechnical proposals and presentationsParticipate in client discussions, demos, and solution walkthroughsCollaborate with sales teams to drive deal closures Automation & DevOps (Good to Have)Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or TerraformImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for OCI deploymentsSupport CI/CD pipelines for database and application deployments Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Deep knowledge of Oracle Database AdministrationExperience with Oracle EBS architecture and migrationsHands-on with:RMAN, Data Guard, GoldenGate (preferred)Performance tuning toolsUnderstanding of networking concepts (VPN, FastConnect, DNS) OCI Architect1 OCI Architect Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled OCI Architect with strong Database Administration expertise who can lead cloud transformation initiatives, support presales activities (RFP/RFI), and execute Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) lift-and-shift migrations from on-premise to OCI.
