Java POS Application Developer (Experience: 3–5 Years)
Job Description
• Develop, enhance, and support Java based Retail POS applications • Build backend services and REST APIs using Spring Boot and Node.js • Implement core POS/payment features: transactions, pricing, tax, promotions, and receipts • Manage builds and dependencies using Maven/Gradle • Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of POS systems • Collaborate with functional teams and support store deployments
Key Skills
• Java (8+), Spring Boot, RESTful services, Node.js • Frontend experience with ReactJS or VueJS • Maven/Gradle, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases • Unit testing using JUnit/Mockito • Microservices architecture • Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse • Agile/Scrum development methodology • Retail POS domain knowledge (strong advantage) • Good communication and collaboration skills
