Engineering Manager Scrum

You will be joining JiBe, a cloud-based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. The primary goal of JiBe is to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety levels for shipping companies while reducing costs. By leveraging JiBe ERP, you will play a crucial role in increasing automation, streamlining processes, and minimizing reliance on traditional communication methods like email and paper. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a group of 3-5 teams, addressing their personal and professional needs while actively participating in analysis, architecture, and design efforts related to the solution. - Recruit and develop self-organizing agile teams, implement career development plans, enhance technical proficiency and soft skills of team members. - Drive improvements in the group's development methodologies and processes, contributing to the organization's overall enhancement. - Take complete ownership of the group's products, ensuring quality, overseeing the production environment, and fulfilling operational requirements. Qualifications: - Possess a unique blend of technical skills, business acumen, customer understanding, creativity, and a research-oriented mindset. - Minimum of 10 years of software development experience as a software engineer and engineering manager. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing with Node.js, C#, or Java. - Minimum of 2 years' experience with large scale and high-performance distributed systems. - Indirectly managed at least 3 engineering teams with a minimum of 20 group members for a consecutive period of 4 years. - Strong capabilities in prioritizing, planning, driving execution plans, and excellent interpersonal skills. - Proactive, independent, mature, self-driven, and capable of working well with minimal supervision in a diverse team environment. - Proficiency in verbal and written English communication and experience collaborating with international managers and colleagues.
