Head of Engineering

As a Group Manager at JiBe, you will play a crucial role in leading a group of 3-5 teams in the analysis, architecture, and design efforts related to the solution. Your responsibilities will include: - Addressing the personal and professional needs of your teams - Participating in recruitment and building self-organizing agile teams - Implementing career development and personal growth plans for team members - Enhancing the technical proficiency level and soft skills of team members - Driving improvements to the group's development methodologies and processes - Managing and driving the day-to-day activities of the group - Assuming complete ownership over the group's products, quality, and operational requirements To qualify for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Technical skills alongside business and customer understanding - Minimum of 10 years of software development experience as a software engineer and engineering manager - Minimum of 6 years developing with Node.js, C#, or Java - Minimum of 2 years' experience with large scale and high-performance distributed systems - Indirectly managed at least 3 engineering teams with a minimum of 20 group members for a minimal consecutive period of 4 years - Experience in prioritizing, planning, driving, and managing execution plans - Excellent interpersonal skills - Proactive, independent, mature, self-driven, and works well with minimal supervision - Proficiency in verbal and written English communication - Experience collaborating with international managers and colleagues Join JiBe and be a part of our mission to revolutionize the shipping industry with our cloud-based ERP system.
