We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity with one of our client in Hyderabad Position: SDET (Automation Testing with Development) Experience: 6 to 10 Years Location: Hyderabad ( Work from Office) Long Term contract : 6 to 12 Months. Contract to Permanent Shift Timings: 7:00 PM 4:00 AM IST Interested Please share your updated resume to senthil@jkvitservices.com Key responsibilities Develop and maintain automation scripts: Write, test, and support scripts and programs for automating tasks, like creating test cases, building CI/CD pipelines, or developing internal tools. Architect automation platforms: Develop and deploy reliable automation frameworks and solutions. Requirement analysis & test management: Analyze requirements, create and manage test cases, test cycles, and execution using qTest, ensuring complete functional coverage and traceability. Collaborate with other teams: Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle, as well as effective automation solutions. Integrate systems: Link different systems and tools to build automated workflows. Troubleshoot complex issues: Diagnose and resolve complex problems in automated systems. Required skills Functional Testing: Strong expertise in manual/functional testing, including requirement analysis, test case design, regression testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation. Programming languages: Strong skills in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript are essential. Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for data manipulation, retrieval, and database management. Automation frameworks: Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using programming languages like Python, Java, C#, or others, often integrated with testing tools or orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Data Integration and ETL: Creating and automating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to transfer and modify data across various systems and databases. Database Testing: Hands-on experience in MySQL database testing, including validation of data integrity, backend testing, and database-driven test scenarios. API Testing: Strong experience in REST API testing using tools like Postman or Python libraries (requests), including validation of JSON/XML responses, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and integration testing. Testing Automation: Creating and executing automated tests to ensure database integrity, data accuracy, and application functionality that interacts with databases. Problem Solving and Debugging: Strong analytical skills to identify issues in functional workflows, automation scripts, API failures, and database queries in Dbeaver and snowflake etc. CI/CD: Good understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and tools. Testing methodologies: Strong knowledge of software testing principles and skill in creating test documentation. Software development fundamentals: Understanding software design patterns and system analysis.
