About the role
Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead projects focused on understanding customer behavior, predicting churn, and optimizing marketing campaigns. Your insights will directly influence business strategy and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for conducting advanced statistical analysis, building predictive models, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Additionally, you will mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of best practices for data science. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of statistical models for customer segmentation, churn prediction, and marketing optimization. - Conduct in-depth analysis of customer data to identify trends and insights. - Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. - Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to implement data-driven strategies. - Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance. - Develop and maintain data science infrastructure and tools. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and analytics. - Present research findings at conferences and industry events. - Write technical reports and publications. - Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations. Qualifications Required: - Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in data science or analytics. - Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques, including regression, classification, and clustering. - Proficiency in Python and R. - Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Experience with SQL and database management systems. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is a plus. - Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus. - Experience with A/B testing and experimental design is a plus.
