Automation Engineer - PLC & HMI

Automation Engineer Siemens PLC / HMI / SCADA Experience 5-10 Years Location Pune Job Type Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with hands-on expertise in Siemens PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, Servo Drives, and Motion Control systems. The ideal candidate should have experience working with industrial automation projects, system integration, machine automation, commissioning, and customer site support. Candidates from System Integrators/System House companies with strong Siemens automation experience will be preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for industrial automation projects. Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500) using TIA Portal. Develop HMI applications using Siemens WinCC Comfort & WinCC Professional. Configure and commission Siemens Servo Drives, VFDs, and Motion Control systems. Perform FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance at project sites. Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, communication, and field-level automation issues. Prepare automation documentation including I/O List, Functional Description, PLC Software, HMI Screens, Test Reports, and Network Architecture. Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Design, and Project teams for successful project execution. Participate in technical discussions with customers and provide application support. Support procurement through BOM review and automation component selection. Provide post-commissioning support, warranty assistance, and AMC support. Ensure timely project execution while maintaining quality and safety standards.
