About the role
Sr. Manager Robotics & Automation Engineering Location: Navi Mumbai Key Responsibilities Strong hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of robotic equipment and automated production lines. Exposure to PLC, SCADA, HMI, Servo Drives, Vision Systems, Automated Conveyors, and Material Handling Systems. Proven experience in ensuring high plant uptime, machine reliability, and maintenance excellence in automated manufacturing environments. Experience in preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices. Ability to lead automation improvement projects and drive operational efficiency initiatives. Strong knowledge of TPM, Reliability Engineering, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Experience in managing engineering and maintenance teams, including manpower planning and capability development. Good understanding of spare parts management, inventory optimization, and maintenance cost control. Exposure to Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, and smart factory initiatives will be preferred. Experience & Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation from premier institute (IIT or NIIT) with 10 - 12 years of experience in Engineering, Maintenance, Automation, or Robotics functions within manufacturing industries. Mandatory experience in fully automated manufacturing plants with extensive robotic and automation systems. Experience in Chemical, Oil & Lubricants, or allied highly automated manufacturing industries preferred. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Good understanding of safety, statutory compliance, ISO systems, and quality standards Candidate should be willing to work from plant location and lead engineering operations for a highly automated manufacturing facility.
