About the role
Roles & Responsibilities : Design and review single line diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, and load calculations for new plant setups Manage procurement of electrical equipment: transformers, switchgear, VFDs, MCCs, DG sets, cables, and luminaries Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning at plant sites Coordinate with Discom (DGVCL/UGVCL) for new connections, load enhancement, and meter installations Ensure compliance with CEA regulations, IS standards, and site-specific electrical safety norms Prepare and review electrical BOQs, cost estimates, and vendor comparisons Manage energy meters, SCADA/PLCs integration, and electrical automation systems Conduct periodic electrical audits and preventive maintenance at operational plants Maintain electrical drawings, inspection records, test reports, and as-built documentation Investigate and resolve electrical breakdown incidents; prepare root cause analysis reports Requirements : Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering; Electrical Supervisor Certificate of Competency (preferred) Experience: 4-8 years as Electrical Engineer in industrial, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects; experience with HT/LT installations and Discom liaison is essential Skills: Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, power distribution, and motor control Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for SLD and layout drawings Experience with CEA compliance, safety protocols, and Discom interface Hands-on experience with VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, and automation systems Good documentation and reporting skills; proficiency in MS Excel
