Senior Manager - Data Science - Insurance

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager/Chief Manager in Data Science at our client, one of the top life insurers in India, you will provide consulting services to business teams on a variety of challenges. Your role involves identifying insights, developing solutions, and collaborating closely with business owners for implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Providing insights to business teams based on data - Developing frameworks, solutions, and recommendations for business problems - Building machine learning models for predictive solutions - Utilizing advanced data science techniques for business solutions - Automating and optimizing new and existing models for smooth, timely, and accurate execution with the lowest possible turnaround time - Designing and maintaining response tracking, measurement, and comparison of success parameters for various projects - Handling large volumes of data effectively using software such as Python, R, etc. - Demonstrating strong data interpretation and reasoning skills - Exhibiting proficient verbal and written communication skills Qualification Required: - MBA from a premier institute, preferably IIM - Masters from IIT Competencies (Knowledge & Skills): - Experience with modeling techniques and handson experience in building logistic regression models, random forest, Kmeans clustering, NLP, decision trees, boosting techniques, etc. - Proficiency in deep data analysis - Excellent knowledge of R and Python - Working knowledge of SQL - Understanding of databases and data structures - Strong communication skills Join our team to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
