Senior Database Administrator- MongoDB (Chennai)

We are looking for a MongoDB Database Administrator with solid hands-on experience in MongoDB Atlas and application development. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing document-based data models, developing efficient MongoDB queries, optimizing database performance, and integrating MongoDB with enterprise applications using .NET/C#. This is an application development role focused on MongoDB implementation and optimization rather than database administration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop application features using MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas. Design scalable document schemas based on business requirements. Develop efficient CRUD operations, including complex queries, filtering, sorting, pagination, bulk inserts, updates, and upserts. Optimize MongoDB queries using appropriate indexing strategies and analyze query performance using Explain Plans. Work with MongoDB Atlas clusters, collections, indexes, and data management features. Implement Change Streams for real-time event-driven applications. Integrate MongoDB with enterprise applications using the MongoDB .NET/C# Driver. Collaborate with backend developers to design scalable and performant data access layers. Support application performance tuning and troubleshoot MongoDB-related issues. Implement data lifecycle strategies using TTL indexes and archival approaches. Work closely with architects and engineering teams on solution design and implementation.
