Primary Purpose of Role Part of the Central Operations Data science team and support the business function with exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to generate actionable business insights Develop and maintain data science solutions on structured/unstrctured data to drive incremental value for Kmart group Create compelling dashboards and presentation to share actionable insights to internal stakeholders and measure benefits Team Member Minimum Requirements Computer sciences, Operations Research, Required Qualification Level: Bachelor Degree (Undergrad) Qualification Field: Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Engineering Computer sciences, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Engineering Preferred Qualification Level: Level of role: Masters Qualification Field: Team member Years of Experience required for role: 1-3 years Individual contributors provide organisational related support or service (administrative or clerical) OR roles operating in a hands on environment in support of daily business activities (e.g., technical, production or craft levels). The majority of time is spent in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Work typically requires a high school degree or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree. Technical Skills required: Basic statistical literacy is a must - Concepts in probability, statistical distributions, inferential statistics. Hands on experience in simple techniques such as multiple linear regression and logistic regression mandatory. Conceptual understanding and ability to apply Machine Learnings algorithms to real life business problems. Data Management Skills using SQL Excellent programming skills in Python Basic knowledge of cloud and MLOps - AWS / GCP / Azure. Experience in agile development methodologies.
