As a Deployment Specialist, your role involves reviewing all job requirements and specifications necessary for deploying solutions into the production environment. You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Performing various unit tests based on deployment checklists using test cases and maintaining detailed documentation for reference. - Collaborating with the Lead to resolve any issues within the required timeframe and proactively communicating any delays. - Working closely with the development team to review new programs for implementation and facilitating communication with different functions to resolve issues. - Documenting all deployment phase issues and findings from logs, sharing detailed analysis with the team. - Reviewing and managing all technical and business documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Conducting and monitoring the software implementation lifecycle, making necessary customizations for clients based on deployment guides. - Providing training to new team members on product deployment, issue identification, and process improvement solutions. - Ensuring project tasks are updated promptly in JIRA or ticketing tools, highlighting any ongoing issues. - Demonstrating self-initiative to learn and understand various technologies such as Vertica SQL, Athena, Pulse Framework, and Tableau. - Being flexible to work during non-business hours in exceptional cases to accommodate client time zones. Additionally, experience with the following tools and technologies is preferred: - ETL Tools: Talend, Informatica, Abinitio, Datastage - BI Tools: Tableau, Jaspersoft, Pentaho, Qlikview - Databases: Oracle, SS - Methodologies: Experience in SDLC and/or Agile Methodology Feel free to showcase your expertise in the mentioned tools and technologies while handling deployment tasks efficiently and effectively.
