We are not building just another cloud kitchen or healthy meal delivery company. Our vision is to build a scalable food ecosystem by combining nutrition science, food technology, intelligent production systems, contract manufacturing, AI, and efficient distribution networks. Rather than owning kitchens in every city, we aim to standardize our products and partner with production facilities and distribution networks to scale across India. As a Food Production & Distribution Expert, you will be responsible for designing and executing the operational backbone that enables Kefilo to manufacture, distribute, and deliver standardized, high-quality nutrition products efficiently. Key Responsibilities Build and manage a scalable food production and distribution network by identifying and onboarding central kitchens, contract manufacturers, commissary kitchens, logistics partners, and last-mile delivery partners across India. Develop standardized production workflows, batch planning, inventory systems, packaging processes, dispatch protocols, cold-chain requirements, and quality assurance systems to ensure consistent product quality at scale. Design efficient distribution strategies for meal subscriptions, ready-to-eat products, future retail channels, corporate clients, and B2B partners while optimizing delivery timelines and operational costs. Work closely with food scientists, chefs, nutritionists, procurement, and operations teams to improve production efficiency, reduce wastage, optimize capacity utilization, and maintain nutritional consistency across all products. Implement SOPs, KPIs, production planning systems, warehouse management processes, demand forecasting, inventory controls, and supply chain dashboards. Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety regulations, hygiene standards, packaging requirements, traceability systems, and quality management practices. Evaluate automation technologies, production equipment, smart manufacturing solutions, ERP systems, and supply chain technologies to support future expansion. Support the development of Kefilos long-term manufacturing strategy, including centralized production, regional distribution hubs, and scalable expansion into multiple cities. Who Should Apply Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Experience in food production, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, distribution, logistics, or cloud kitchen management. Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, quality control, procurement, warehouse operations, and food safety compliance. Familiarity with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, ERP systems, and production management software is preferred. Excellent analytical, operational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build scalable operational systems from the ground up. Immediate Priorities (First 90 Days) Identify and evaluate contract manufacturing partners and central kitchens for multi-city expansion. Develop standardized production SOPs, packaging specifications, and quality control systems. Build production planning, inventory management, and distribution workflows. Create a scalable logistics strategy for meal subscriptions and future retail products. Design operational dashboards to monitor production efficiency, wastage, costs, fulfillment, and distribution performance. Optimize procurement, warehouse management, and supply chain processes. Build the foundation for a nationwide production and distribution ecosystem without owning kitchens in every city.
