About the role
Overview: Ken Research is looking for a passionate and motivated Software Developer Intern who has a strong foundation in modern web technologies. As part of our growing tech team, you will work on building and enhancing our web applications, ensuring smooth user experiences and clean, efficient code. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js and Next.js . • Work closely with the UX/UI team to convert design mockups into responsive, high-quality web pages. • Write clean, readable, and reusable code using JavaScript/TypeScript , HTML5, and CSS. • Assist in improving website speed, performance, and overall user experience. • Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs. • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for frontend development. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues as they arise. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field. • Strong understanding of JavaScript , TypeScript , React.js , and Next.js (academic projects or internships preferred). • Basic knowledge of HTML5 , CSS3 , and responsive design principles. • Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems. • Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies. • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Good to Have (Optional): • Exposure to REST APIs • Understanding of basic frontend performance concepts • Knowledge of SASS, Tailwind, or similar CSS frameworks • Internship experience in frontend development
