About the role
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI Security Engineer in Irving, TX.
Duties:
AI Security Engineer will develop and implement security controls, standards, and best practices across applications, systems, and infrastructure
Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats
Support data protection, privacy, and compliance requirements through appropriate governance and security measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into development, deployment, and operational processes
Develop monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities to address security events and emerging threats
Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and vendor evaluations
As an AI Security Engineer, you will provide guidance, training, and support on security best practices to technical and business stakeholders
Track security initiatives and metrics to measure program effectiveness and continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in information security, application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, or a related discipline
Experience implementing security controls and managing risk across enterprise environments
Experience with cloud platforms, modern infrastructure technologies, and secure development practices
Knowledge of security architecture, governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence security initiatives
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
