Software Developer I

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer I to work 4 days in their Maryland Heights, MO office.

Duties:

Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs

Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents

Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback

Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency

Participates in architecture, design and code reviews

Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation

0-2 years of experience

React needed on the front end

Proficiency in Core Java programming language, including object-oriented concepts, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

Familiarity with Oracle PL SQL or similar relational database programming languages for efficient data retrieval and manipulation

Familiarity with build automation using Maven

Knowledge of web services concepts, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to comprehend complex software systems, identify issues, and propose innovative solutions

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, along with ability to work independently

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
